The Flowerpot & & Tradition lamps became synonymous with the Flower Power movement in the late 1960s. They reflect a break with convention and foster a more open, modern mindset that promotes peace and harmony. This was the philosophy of their designer, Verner Panton. He was one of the most progressive talents of his time. The Flowerpot series consists of various models, including pendant lights, table lamps—and this wall lamp. They are all available in many colors.

Built-in pendant light and stainless steel bracket

The “ VP8 ” wall sconce consists of a dome-shaped metal shade from which a round pendant light protrudes—the experimental design is typical of Verner Panton. The round shape is echoed in the wall mount, which also houses the on/off switch. The two polished stainless steel rods break up the composition and are barely noticeable depending on the wall color. This creates the impression that the lampshade is magically floating. The lamp’s modern design allows it to be used in a wide variety of interiors, whether as a nightlight in the bedroom or as subtle lighting in the hallway. Please note that the lamp is shipped without a light bulb.
