Pendant light with movable struts

Vertigo Petite Friture is a large yet extremely lightweight pendant light designed by Constance Guisset. It’s not just the weight that’s light—the light’s appearance is, too. Vertigo It consists of a multitude of movable struts that cast a diffuse pattern of shadows as soon as they are illuminated by the light. Due to its light weight of just 500 grams combined with its impressive size of about 2 meters, it moves Vertigo gently to the rhythm of the wind. In the airflow, the light rotates leisurely around its own axis and seems to flow, while the flexible shade simultaneously tilts and bends. With its curved shape, Vertigo visually envelops the area below and, with its gentle movements, creates a calm and intimate atmosphere. Despite its size, Vertigo by designer Constance Guisset appears neither heavy nor cumbersome. The lightweight lamp structure is made of fiberglass, steel, and polyurethane.
