Delicate-looking pendant light

The delicate-looking Random Light pendant light was designed in 2001 by Bentjan Pot for the Dutch manufacturer Moooi . The manufacturing process sounds remarkably simple: the lampshade consists of glass fibers that are first soaked in epoxy resin and then wrapped around a large balloon. What sounds simple, according to the designer, took three years to develop.

Each lamp is one-of-a-kind

The result is impressive, as the Random Light is not only an eye-catcher in any room but also creates a unique interplay of light and shadow. It exudes a sense of simplicity and lightness with a touch of magic in any room. Due to the manufacturing process, each lamp is also one-of-a-kind. Moooi The Random Light is available in three sizes (diameter: 50 cm, 80 cm, 105 cm) and in black and white finishes. The lamp, made of fiberglass, epoxy, and chrome-plated steel, is also available in an LED version.
