The Funiculí wall sconce from the manufacturer marset captivates with its absolute simplicity. Designer Lluís Porqueras is known for reducing his objects to their simplest form. The design of the Funiculí wall sconce is inspired by the construction of a spotlight and can be adjusted up or down using clips on the shaft. The diffuser allows the shade to be rotated 360 degrees, enabling the light to be directed as needed. For example, the wall sconce works wonderfully as a reading light next to the sofa in the living room. The name Funiculí is derived from the Spanish word “funicular.” Translated, this means “funicular railway” and alludes to the fact that the shade can be moved both up and down.
