Retro-Style Chair

The Mariolina Chair from Magis stands out for its simple, retro-style design. The chair was designed in 2002 by Enzo Mari, one of the most prominent figures in Italian design. The chair, with its seat and backrest available in various colors, is a perfect fit for the kitchen table or the desk in a child’s room.

Made of polypropylene with a steel frame

This seemingly simple chair, inspired by the 1950s, features a seat and backrest that are not attached to the frame with screws or rivets, but rather connected to the frame via a series of molded plastic ribs. Compared to chairs from the 1950s, the legs are slimmer and more precisely crafted, giving the chair a delicate look. The frame of this stackable chair is made of chrome-plated or painted steel tubing, while the seat and backrest are made of polypropylene. The Magis logo is embossed on all chairs, guaranteeing their authenticity. By the way: Up to 12 chairs can be easily stacked on top of each other.
