Round Table Lamp by Verner Panton

The Panthella table lamp was designed in 1971 by Verner Panton for Louis Poulsen . It is one of Panton’s most popular designs and is characterized by its harmonious, serene form. The organic design of the Panthella table lamp is inspired by the shape of a mushroom. At its tip, the lamp features a chrome-plated sphere. In addition to its aesthetic function, the sphere serves to lift the lamp’s ceiling plate, which must be removed to replace the light bulb. Excess cable can also be stored in the base of the table lamp. The lamp’s light source is located beneath a milky white, hemispherical acrylic shade. Together with the trumpet-shaped base, it contributes to the wonderful light distribution and harmonious form.
