Hand-woven baskets

The hand-woven baskets are all crafted using exactly the same technique. This unique construction consists of a single long wire that is hand-woven without the use of any welding equipment. This is also why the baskets are so durable—there are simply no parts of the basket that can fall apart.

Made of stainless steel or galvanized steel

Korbo ’s baskets are available in two steel varieties—galvanized steel or stainless steel. Both varieties are rust-resistant.
Galvanization is a process used to prevent corrosion by applying a physical barrier of zinc to the surface. Galvanized steel has been used successfully for over 150 years, and the wire will develop a matte patina over time. Stainless steel, on the other hand, contains nickel and molybdenum, which combine with the steel to form a completely rust-free alloy. Unlike galvanized wire, stainless steel is not only protected from corrosion on the surface but is completely rust-free. Stainless steel baskets remain shiny, no matter what weather conditions they are exposed to.
