Vase with an Unusual Design

The Ikeru vases from the Danish manufacturer Fritz Hansen were designed by Jaime Hayon and are inspired by the Japanese art of “ikebana.” The vase’s unusual design highlights the uniqueness of each flower and ensures that the individual blooms are shown to their best advantage from every angle. The water in the glass bowls below keeps the flowers fresh. The transparency of the design can be used to celebrate nature or to create an arrangement that looks just as good on the dining room table as it does on a side table in the hallway.

Aluminum and Glass

The water bowl of the Ikeru vase is made of forest-green glass, while the tubes and frame are made of aluminum. The Ikeru Low Vase is also available in a tall version.
