Sleek, minimalist pendant light

The Smithfield series was designed in 2009 by Jasper Morrison for Flos . The series includes various pendant and ceiling lights. All lights in the Smithfield series embody Morrison’s signature design language—streamlined to the point of minimalism, timeless, and featuring clean lines. The Smithfield pendant light is a hanging lamp that provides direct light, making it ideal for illuminating a dining table. It is available in three different versions: one for halogen bulbs, and one dimmable and one non-dimmable version for compact fluorescent bulbs.

Made of aluminum and polycarbonate

The lamp body of the Smithfield is made of polished and painted aluminum. The injection-molded shade is made of opal methacrylate. The ceiling mount and suspension cable are made of steel. The three-wire power cable with double insulation is made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and has a usable length of 270 cm. The Smithfield Flos ’s light fixture is also available in other versions.
