Steel Chair

The Thor Chair for Emu was designed by Alfredo Chiaramonte and Marco Marin and is a chair made of steel, which arose from the enthusiasm for forged metal. The name Thor was inspired by the God of Thunder Thor with his hammer Mjölnir, which has always been associated to the art of forging.

Stackable, Robust and Extremely Durable

The Thor chair is handcrafted from steel and convinces with its timeless and absolutely modern lines as well as its surprisingly light weight of only 6.3 kg. It is extremely robust and durable due to its material and is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use. Moreover, up to 8 Thor chairs can be stacked on top of each other when they are not in use. The Thor chair by Emu is available in different colours. With the round magnetic cushion C/711, the Thor Chair can be made even more comfortable!
