Wooden chair with a natural wicker seat

The simply designed CH36 Carl Hansen chair was designed by Danish designer Hans J. Wegner in 1962 and clearly reflects his passion for traditional craftsmanship. The solid wood frame is characterized by its clean lines, which lend the chair an elegant touch. Slightly tapered legs and rounded edges, however, soften the overall appearance and give the chair its Nordic charm.

The wooden frame is complemented by a seat made of natural wicker, which not only rounds out the natural look but also offers great comfort. Together with the ergonomically curved backrest, this creates a chair on which you can spend pleasant hours at the dining table or desk. Thanks to its understated design, the chair blends seamlessly into both private and public settings. Upon request, the CH36 chair is available in beech wood with black wicker.
