Japanese-Style Pendant Light

The Hashira Audo pendant lamp was designed by the design studio Norm Architects, which drew inspiration from traditional Japanese rice-paper lanterns. The pendant lamp is made of semi-transparent linen fabric that allows light to shine through gently. When the light is turned on, the coarse grid inside becomes visible as a shadow, giving the light a certain texture.

Cylindrical Shape

The name of the pendant light comes from its shape, as Hashira means “pillar” in Japanese. This understated light fits just as well in the living room as it does in the bedroom or kitchen.
The Hashira series also includes a table lamp and a floor lamp.
