The " Aster " coat rack was designed in 2010 by Alessandro Dubini for Zanotta . " Aster " was born out of a desire to create a simple and functional object with a delicate and original silhouette. For its extraordinary appearance and accompanying functionality, the coat rack received the Good Design Award in 2010. The “ Aster ” coat rack features a delicate structure that, thanks to its color and shape, appears as if it were made of rubber. The design is symmetrical, and the ends of the rack—which serve as feet at the bottom—function as coat hooks at the top. When placed in a room, the coat rack exudes the aura of a sculptural element. Thus, “ Aster ” can serve as a coat rack in hallways, entryways, and offices, while also functioning as a decorative object with practical benefits anywhere else.
