Wooden Coat Hook

The “ Tail Wing ” coat hook from Woud was inspired by a rather unusual object. The idea for the hook came to designer Kasper Nyman, founder of the design studio Office KN, during a long layover at the airport. As he waited to board his flight and looked out the window at the many airplanes, he came up with the idea for a coat hook shaped like an airplane. The wide wings, nose, and rear section of an airplane—when transformed into a coat hook—offer four different ways to hang items, providing plenty of space that other coat hooks cannot offer. Additionally, the wings, which slope upward at an angle, prevent anything from slipping off the hook.
