Portable Table Lamp with a Grooved Pattern
The idea for the design came to Hamburg-based designer Andreas Kowalewski at a flea market, where he saw an old oil lamp. This inspired a lamp with an opal glass shade for the Danish label Woud . The lampshade creates the illusion of white fabric draped over a light source. A grooved pattern running from bottom to top enhances this effect. The slender metal rod not only supports the lampshade but also serves as a handle for carrying the lamp. The cord comes with a dimmable switch.
