The Gardenworks Weltevree ’s Planting Station makes outdoor gardening and cooking an intuitive part of everyday life. Instead of being tucked away in the back of the garden like traditional vegetable and herb beds, the station is deliberately placed in a prominent position—right next to the back door as a natural extension of the kitchen. The unit combines a planter with a spacious countertop at an ergonomic height of 93 cm, making both gardening and preparing fresh ingredients a pleasant and effortless experience. Two boxes beneath the work surface provide additional storage space. The integrated irrigation system with two drains keeps the soil optimally moist by draining excess water while maintaining a constant water level for healthy plants. With its elegant, thoughtfully crafted design, the Gardenworks station creates a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetics. It blends seamlessly into a wide variety of living spaces—from city balconies to indoor areas to spacious country house gardens—and visibly enhances them. The Plant Station invites you to experience mindful moments in nature: from cooking together under the open sky to observing the changing seasons. Made of galvanized and powder-coated steel, powder-coated aluminum, and sintered stone, it offers durable quality and resilience. It was created by designer Marcel Sloots, who consistently combines functionality and design.
