Devilish Wooden Figure

Legendary designer and interior architect Alexander Girard, together with his friends Charles and Ray Eames, George Nelson, and Eero Saarinen, helped shape American mid-century design. He originally designed the many wooden figures—Wooden Dolls—for his own use in his home in Santa Fe, serving both as decorative objects and as toys. Based on originals from Girard’s estate at the Vitra Design Museum, Vitra has been reproducing these accessories for several years now.
