, the Wooden Dolls were designed by Alexander Girard for his own use. Based on the original figures from his estate, this group—whose expressions range from cheerful to rather grim—is produced by Vitra as a charming addition to any home. The Wooden Dolls “Mother Fish & ” and “Child” are made of solid fir wood and are hand-painted. They come in a printed wooden box, along with a brochure.
