Ceramic Cat Figurine

Vitra ’s “Resting Cat” was designed by the duo Front Design and fits perfectly into the “Resting Animals” series, which consists of sleeping animal figurines. In a small survey on figurines and decorative objects, the two designers at Front discovered that many people associate memories and emotions particularly with animal figurines. Front has therefore designed a series of figurines characterized by their calm, cozy appearance.

Sleeping Decorative Cat

The Resting Cat is made of ceramic with a glazed surface and is depicted in a curled-up, resting position. Its soft silhouette blends perfectly into any setting and can be placed on a sideboard, shelf, or other surface. Its contented aura spreads throughout the room and, hopefully, rubs off on the viewer as well. The cat pairs perfectly with other figurines from the series.
