Table Lamp Made of Bamboo and Washi Paper

The Akari YA2 table lamp by Isamu Noguchi for Vitra is a timeless lamp in the Far Eastern style. Isamu Noguchi has designed more than 100 Akari lamps since 1951. A visit to Japan inspired the creation of these designer lamps. The lamp is made of bamboo and washi paper. The white, sturdy paper softens the light and diffuses it gently and evenly.
