Mother-of-Pearl Lamp by Verner Panton

The Fun 2DM Verpan pendant lamp was designed by Danish designer Verner Panton, who was known for his extravagant lighting and furniture creations. His keen eye for detail is perfectly exemplified by the Fun lamp, designed in 1964. The pendant lamp is crafted from numerous mother-of-pearl elements that create a multifaceted interplay of light. The mother-of-pearl plates are connected by small metal rings, producing a light, contemplative sound when the lamp moves. Arranged in chains of varying lengths, the plates hang from two metal rings. Their delicate appearance gives the light a particularly elegant look. Placed above the dining table in particular, the pendant light casts a soft glow and serves as a stunning focal point. The Fun 2DM pendant light is equipped with an E27 socket, which can be fitted with a light bulb of your choice.
