Rice Paper Pendant Light

At first glance, the pendant light designed by Spanish designer Jaime Hayon is reminiscent of traditional Asian paper lanterns. These were also the designer’s source of inspiration, as he sought to translate the traditional charm of these lanterns into a modern interpretation. The lampshade, made of rice paper, is shaped using oak rings.
