Designed in 1950 by Hvidt &, and Mølgaard, the AX Lounge Chair HM11 lounge chair with armrests for & & Tradition holds a unique place in the postwar design landscape and embodies the democratic design movement of that era. The Danish duo, already known for their Portex series, participated in the “International Competition for Low-Cost Furniture Design & ” at the & in 1948 alongside design luminaries such as Hans J.
