Cantilever Chair with Mesh Upholstery

The timelessly beautiful tubular steel cantilever chair takes on a modern and relaxed character in the S 32 N version from Thonet , featuring a seat and backrest made of mesh. The original version with wickerwork was designed by Marcel Breuer in Berlin in the late 1920s. Since then, Thonet has been offering the chair in a wide variety of versions.

Like the classic model, the S 32 N is made of bent tubular steel. The frames of the backrest and seat are also made of wood, just like the original. The only difference is that the seat and backrest are covered not with wicker but with plastic mesh. The translucent mesh gives the chair a contemporary touch, making it look modern and fresh.
