Classic Tubular Steel Wall Coat Rack

The " S 1520 " coat rack was designed in 2013 by Randolf Schott for Thonet . The coat rack’s design is based on the classic B 52/1 steel tube wall-mounted coat rack from 1930, which is documented in the famous “ Thonet ” index card catalog (1930/31).

This modern version of the coat rack has been adapted to today’s needs, particularly in terms of size. Unlike the B 52/1, the “ S 1520 ” is significantly larger, providing more space for clothing and other items. The frame is made of tubular steel, while the shelf surface is covered with a durable plastic sheeting.
Jackets and coats can be hung on 10 concealed hooks, while hats, handbags, and scarves can be placed on the shelf. As part of the 1520 product line, the Thonet coat rack is available in additional versions: with a memo board or as a shoe rack.
