The “keep & #039;ot!” teapot is shaped like a cozy campfire over which the tea is kept warm. The design is by Christoph Matthias, an industrial designer and lighting designer based in Munich. The “logs” of the “keep & #039;ot!” tea warmer are made of oiled walnut and are connected by stainless steel fittings that hold a tea light and the teapot. “keep & #039;ot!” is set up with a simple twist. “keep & #039;ot!” is manufactured by the Wendelstein Workshops in Rosenheim/Raubling, which are involved in the project. For over 25 years, the Wendelstein Workshops have been providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities in Rosenheim and nearby Raubingen. At the “ & ’s ‘Kompass’ & ” workshop, people with mental disabilities create beautiful items such as the tea warmer offered here or the Chop-pin chopsticks from side by side .
