The design by the fpm Munich agency is crafted there from solid, untreated ash wood. Reinforced plastic lines are used for hanging laundry. The German company side by side stands for close collaboration between designers and people with disabilities—in other words, “ side by side .” “Design with a social character” was conceived in 2002 by product designer Sabine Meyer and brought to market in partnership with the Caritas Wendelstein Workshops. Today, more than 30 designers—including the multi-award-winning agency fpm Munich—create high-quality, beautifully designed home accessories for everyday use.
