The " Secundum " is the second light fixture developed by Schneid . Thanks to the angled slats, the light source is never directly visible, creating a particularly warm atmosphere and ensuring glare-free light. The " Secundum " is the best-selling light fixture in the Series A collection from Schneid . The A Series, which includes Secundum as well as Pirum and Volum, is the first lighting collection by Niklas Jessen and Julia Mülling for Schneid , released in 201 1. All of the lights in this series stand out for their warm glow and organic form. The lights were designed primarily for living and dining areas. Like all lamps from Schneid , the “ Secundum ” pendant lamp is also handcrafted in northern Germany. The material used is poplar wood sourced from sustainably managed forests by regional suppliers. All lamps come with a 2-meter textile cable and a “CableCup” cover.
