Lambswool Blanket with a Braided Pattern

The Isak wool blanket from the Norwegian manufacturer Røros Tweed , with its woven look, is reminiscent of the seats of classic Shaker chairs. The pattern of the Isak blanket, designed by Anderssen, &, and Voll, was created in 2016 and was part of the research project & “Furnishing Uptopia. & ” The workshop took place at Hancock Shaker Village in the U.S., which served as a source of inspiration with its iconic Shaker chairs. The goal of the design studio was to translate the look of the colorfully woven cotton ribbons found on the classic chairs into a decorative blanket. The Isak wool blanket, made from Norwegian lambswool, is available in various colors and is best hand-washed at 30 degrees. The Isak pattern is also available as a pillow.
