Sketchbook Abstracts “ Paper Collective ” is the name of a series of posters by Jonas Wagell that captivates with its minimalist shapes and harmonious colors. Whether displayed individually or—especially—as a group, these posters make for a timeless and understated focal point on any wall. “For this illustration series for Paper Collective , I looked through my latest sketchbooks and selected some of my favorite shapes. With the help of colors and textures, they’ve been transformed into abstract, graphic forms. At the same time, the illustrations serve as an abstract summary of my collected notes and inspirations from a specific period in my sketchbooks. With the sale of each poster, Paper Collective donates a portion of the proceeds to a charitable cause. In the case of the Sketchbook Abstracts poster series, the money goes to an organization working to build a school in Nepal. Paper Collective also ensures environmentally friendly production conditions, so that all posters have been awarded the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, comparable to the Blue Angel in Germany. Each Sketchbook Abstracts poster is printed on 200 g paper. The unbleached paper is acid-free.
