A Design from the 1950s

The Birdy Swing lamp is an original creation by Birger Dahl, the pioneer of contemporary Nordic lighting. Following consultation with the heirs of the Birger Dahl family, Northern is now bringing one of the original sketches to market for the first time. The timeless 1952 design features a geometric shape with soft contours and an expressive design language.
