Acorn-shaped pendant light

For the Acorn Northern ’s pendant lamp, Norwegian furniture designer Atle Tveit drew inspiration from Nordic autumn landscapes. So it’s no surprise that the shape of the lampshade is reminiscent of an acorn cap: wide, flat, and domed at the bottom, the lacquered aluminum shade tapers toward the top and ends in an oak tip that creates a wonderful contrast to the aluminum shade.

Detailed Design

The attention to detail runs throughout the entire design of the light fixture and extends to the color scheme of the cord: wrapped in a silk cord, it matches the shade of the lampshade. The Acorn pendant light is a stylish addition to any living space and—thanks to its downward-facing light—is particularly well-suited for illuminating writing desks, dining tables, or coffee tables.
