Sculptural pendant light made of perforated steel sheets

The Superpose Normann Copenhagen pendant lamp is a sculptural fixture designed by Frederik Kurzweg. It consists of three curved, perforated steel sheets arranged concentrically around one another, offset at a precise 180-degree angle. The overlapping of the three geometric shapes creates a striking visual effect—even when the light is off. This is because the pendant’s appearance changes depending on the viewer’s position. This effect is enhanced by the perforated pattern, which makes the surfaces appear more or less transparent.

Soft and direct light

Superpose emits soft light outward and direct light downward, while the perforated sheet casts lively shadows onto the surroundings. This makes the light particularly well-suited for placement above a table, hanging in a corner as mood lighting, or used as a striking ceiling light in the hallway. Includes a 4-meter-long, fabric-covered cable in white. Please note that the light bulb is not included.
