Modern Table Lamp

Shelter is a simple lamp full of character that casts a pleasant light on its surroundings. In contrast to its clean lines, the conical shape of the base and the rounded lampshade create a soft and inviting look. In designing the Shelter lamp, the designers at HolmbäckNordentoft played with proportions and details. The white interior of the lampshade reflects the light, while its wide, curved shape provides pleasant, glare-free illumination. “The idea for Shelter grew out of our thoughts on how to create a visual connection between the cord and the lamp. A cord is, after all, a necessary evil, but how do you make a virtue out of necessity? Based on this, we developed the arched base opening and the brass detail; both are key elements of the lamp’s distinctive look.”—_{Designers HolmbäckNordentoft} Shelter is available in classic black, white, and a mineral-inspired dusty gray.
