Pine Side Tables

The Pine Normann Copenhagen ’s series consists of side tables that combine Scandinavian simplicity with an expressive, avant-garde style. The tables are made of solid pine, which is where the series gets its name.

Octagonal base and round tabletop

A voluminous octagonal base makes the Pine tables a standout feature in any room. The thin, circular tabletop with its rounded edge contrasts with the base and gives the wooden structure a light, airy appearance. The clearly visible grain of the pine wood adds another eye-catching element. This wood species, which has been unjustly forgotten, receives renewed attention in this playful composition. Simon Legald explains why he chose Pine series: “Pine has long been neglected in furniture design. And that’s a shame, because this wood certainly has many fine qualities. For me, the fiery grain and the unmistakable scent of this wood represent the Nordic spirit and warmth. And last but not least, it makes perfect sense to use a material that’s available locally in large quantities.” The Pine Normann Copenhagen ’s tables are available in various sizes and come in either natural pine or a lacquered finish, with the wood’s grain beautifully shining through the lacquer.
