Hand-knotted striped rug

Simon Legald explains: “I tried to design a rug in which the decorative element is achieved primarily through the shape. As a small detail, the striking, straight stripe emphasizes the shape of the rugs. It creates asymmetry and provides a visual contrast to the soft curves of the edges.”
