The Eddy lamp by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen is a true balancing act. A circular shade made of pressed steel hovers lightly and flexibly above the softly shaped base made of solid marble, creating a design full of balance and movement.

Flat Steel Shade and Voluminous Body

The integrated LED light source is located on the underside of the flat steel shade. The shade and base of the lamp meet at a pivot point in the form of a shimmering golden brass sphere. The slender neck and voluminous body combine to create a silhouette that is both dynamic and highly stable. With its downward-facing shade, Eddy illuminates not only its surroundings but also itself. The light is projected onto the marble, emphasizing the material’s shimmering character. The shade can also be tilted at any time to adjust the direction of the light as desired. Eddy is available in various finishes, making it an eye-catcher in any living space.
