Mid-Century-Style Sofa

The Kube Normann Copenhagen ’s sofa, designed by Simon Legald, is a modern interpretation of mid-century design. The cubist-inspired frame made of solid pine creates a striking contrast to the loosely arranged, soft cushions. The result is an expressive yet balanced design that combines exposed construction with high comfort. The precisely joined wooden beams highlight the quality of the craftsmanship and develop a natural patina over time, lending the sofa additional character. Inspired by sofas from the 1950s and 1960s, where the exposed frame was part of the aesthetic, Kube this honest construction into a contemporary living concept.
