Sideboard with Sliding Doors

Kabino is a simple, versatile sideboard with an exclusive look, designed by Simon Legald. One of the two sliding doors is crafted from an elegant perforated metal panel, while the ash frame gives the sideboard a soft and warm appearance. Kabino blends seamlessly into most interior styles. Simon Legald’s designs are often characterized by well-thought-out details. With “ Kabino ,” the designer paid particular attention to the details of the doors to break up the otherwise uniform surface and create a sense of dynamism. This is particularly evident, for example, in the handles, which were deliberately offset and integrated into the doors. Simon Legald explains: “I really enjoy working at the intersection of craftsmanship and industry. Modern sideboards often feature either pure craftsmanship or pure industrial design. With ‘ Kabino ,’ I experimented with manufacturing processes and material combinations to create a synthesis of both worlds.” Kabino It is available with white or gray doors and is ideal as a sideboard in the living room, dining room, hallway, or bedroom. Thanks to the cable outlets and perforated panels—which allow remote controls to be used even when the doors are closed— Kabino is also well-suited as a TV stand.
