Sculpture with Form and Balance

The Join Normann Copenhagen ’s “Sculpture,” designed by in-house designer Yuchen Wu, reinterprets traditional wood joints as abstract design objects. The starting point was a design study of classic wood joints and their visual expressiveness. From initial sketches, a series of three sculptural objects emerged, bringing structure, balance, and geometry into a poetic dialogue. The sculptures combine circular and rectangular elements into a modern, Cubist-inspired composition. Thanks to their balanced construction, they appear light and almost floating. Each sculpture can be rotated and repositioned, constantly opening up new perspectives and interpretations. Whether on sideboards, shelves, windowsills, or pedestals— Join Sculpture makes a striking, artistic statement in a wide variety of interiors.
