"Jet" by Normann Copenhagen is a wall shelf designed by Simon Legald, born out of a curiosity about surfaces and innovative manufacturing processes. The lightweight aluminum shelf features a spacious design and a clean, industrial silhouette, giving it the appearance of a part of a jet aircraft.

Minimalist Wall Shelf

This simple yet unconventional wall shelf stands out with its asymmetrical appearance, creating an interesting interplay between vertical and horizontal lines.
The Jet Shelf is manufactured using a technique called extrusion. Molten aluminum is forced through a specially designed die to create the 4-mm-thick shelf. The finished shelf features small grooves in its otherwise smooth surface. These grooves are not only aesthetically pleasing but also ensure that items placed on the shelf remain secure and do not slide off. The Jet Shelf from Normann Copenhagen is available in various sizes and with finishes in different colors.
