Multifunctional furniture made from recycled plastic

The Bit Normann Copenhagen ’s multifunctional furniture, with its sculptural design, can be used in a variety of ways. Among other things, it can serve as a small side table for flowers and table lamps, or as a stool for impromptu guests. Designer Simon Legald drew inspiration from timeless forms such as monoliths and columns. The clean lines of Bit contrasts with the unique, pixel-like surface, which is made from 100% recycled plastic.

Made from recycled plastic

In a special process, small pieces of plastic are heated to 120 degrees until they reach their melting point, allowing them to be recycled many times without altering the plastic’s properties. This creates the table’s distinctive structure, and it is available in various versions. Bit It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and can withstand temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +50 °C.
