Anniversary Collection: 30 Years of nanimarquina

To mark the 30th anniversary of nanimarquina , the dreamy yet humorous Hayon x Nani collection was created.
Based on drawings by designer Jaime Hayon, the rugs are hand-tufted. Wool elements are added manually using a tufting gun to achieve intuitive, fluid lines and an organic composition.

At first glance, the rug reveals a chaotic tangle of colors and shapes. However, upon closer inspection, the viewer discovers numerous imaginative motifs and figures. Depending on the size and section, the rugs feature lips, turtles, fish, half-human, half-bird figures, and much more.

New Zealand sheep’s wool/

Like all nanimarquina rugs, the Hayon x Nani series was produced under Fair Trade conditions and without the use of child labor.
Hand-tufted from 100% New Zealand sheep’s wool, the rug is pleasantly soft. Wool from New Zealand sheep is natural, environmentally friendly, and biodegradable. This exceptionally beautiful, high-quality fiber is known for its elasticity and vibrant color and is ideal for weaving. The quality of the wool is determined by certain factors, such as fiber diameter, color, thickness, crimp, and yield. Rugs made from New Zealand wool are easy to care for and hypoallergenic. They resist the effects of
time while simultaneously reducing evaporation into the air, dampening noise levels, and thus creating a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Custom sizes are available from the manufacturer upon request.
