100% New Zealand virgin wool, which is processed into felt at a GoodWeave-certified factory in Nepal. Felt is known for its durability and is both water- and stain-resistant, making it perfect for everyday use. After being combed and washed, the wool is dyed the desired color at a Fair Trade-certified dyehouse that has been awarded the “Label STEP®.” The dyehouse operates in accordance with ecological guidelines. The wool is then felted through a labor-intensive process and shaped into its final spherical form. Using a special knotting technique, the individual balls are sewn together to create the final product.
