Handcrafted Wool

The pot coasters, like the rugs from myfelt , are made from 100% New Zealand virgin wool, which is among the highest quality in the world. At the rug factory in Nepal, the untreated wool is combed and washed several times. The subsequent felting process is the most labor-intensive step. Each individual ball is handcrafted through several stages to achieve its final shape. The finished balls are then sewn together using a knotting technique specially developed by myfelt to create the final product.

Due to the environmentally friendly dyeing method, myfelt products may only be dry-cleaned. Water-based and chemical cleaning can cause color changes.
