The round Mono rug from myfelt is a felt rug made from 100% New Zealand virgin wool. The solid-colored felt balls give the rug a clean and airy look and subtly enhance any room.

High-Quality Wool and Eco-Friendly Dye

The rugs from myfelt are made from 100% New Zealand virgin wool, which is among the highest quality in the world. At the rug factory in Nepal, the untreated wool is combed and washed several times. The wool is then dyed in the appropriate color at a “Label STEP®” Fair Trade-certified dyehouse in accordance with strictly ecological guidelines. The subsequent felting process is the most labor-intensive step. Each individual ball is handcrafted through several steps to achieve its final shape. The finished balls are then sewn together using a knotting technique specially developed by myfelt to create a rug that can consist of up to 50,000 felt balls.
