Rug with Multiple Layers

The Muuto Varjo rug was designed by Danish designer Tina Ratzer. Varjo strikes the delicate balance between a subtle rug suitable for all types of interiors and a wealth of details that make it unique. Designer Tina Ratzer says of her Varjo rug: & “I wanted to create a geometric rug with multiple layers and dimensions. I wanted to give the first layer an easily understandable statement and a harmonious color palette. One layer deeper, a dynamic herringbone pattern emerges, adding a new dimension and a surprising twist. & ” The overlapping of the various layers of the Muuto Varjo rug creates shadow effects that produce a three-dimensional and elegant impression. The Varjo rugs from Muuto are handwoven, made from 100% New Zealand lambswool, and are also available in other colors upon request.
