The Ambit pendant light from Muuto is timeless and versatile—a true classic from the Stockholm-based design studio TAF Architects. & “Why are we drawn to certain shapes and not others? & ” TAF Architects asked themselves this question while developing the light: & “In Ambit we examined the shape and proportions thoroughly and almost meticulously. & ” This resulted in a very special dynamic that emerges from the combination of straight lines and a rounded shape. Thanks to these characteristics, the pendant light is never boring to look at.

Handcrafted

The lampshade of the Ambit is made of fine aluminum and is handcrafted, polished, and finally hand-painted according to time-honored traditions. This results in a durable, high-quality product.

Subtle contrasts and a harmonious appearance

Muuto ’s pendant light is available in various colors, though the interior of the shade is always white. This creates a subtle color contrast and also ensures that the lamp emits as much light as possible. The matte exterior gives the lampshade a particularly rounded, soft, and harmonious appearance.
