Glass and Cork Carafe

“ Corky ” by Muuto is a carafe for water and wine, as well as a bottle for milk or juices. It was designed by Andreas Engesvik. The idea behind the carafe is to create a simple and familiar shape, complemented by an oversized design. An archetypal bottle served as the inspiration for the design of the Corky carafe. The linear shape is complemented by the combination of glass and cork. Graceful and familiar in appearance, Corky features a striking detail: an oversized cork stopper sits atop the wide neck of the bottle. The “ & ” “Korkball & ” seals the bottle; it is light and comfortable to hold, and at the same time, it is the element that gives Corky from Muuto its unmistakable look. Simple, functional—truly Scandinavian.
