Pendant light with three shades

The Ambit Rail Muuto ’s pendant light is a true statement piece that looks particularly striking when hung above a dining table, kitchen island, or bar counter. Designed by TAF Architects, the fixture consists of a rail to which three harmoniously shaped lampshades are attached, providing optimal lighting for the area below.

Straight lines with rounded shades

In developing the light, the design studio TAF Architects focused primarily on shapes and proportions, resulting in a design piece that impresses with its combination of straight lines and curves.

Traditionally handcrafted

But it’s not just the design of the Ambit Rail pendant light is impressive—the quality also leaves nothing to be desired. The aluminum is traditionally handcrafted, forged, polished, and then painted. The inside of the shades is painted white, which not only provides a color contrast but also ensures exceptionally even light distribution. The matte finish, along with the color-coordinated cable, rounds out the Scandinavian-minimalist look.
